How many cocktails can I make from the whiskey barrel wood block?
We estimate around 15-20 cocktails but it can vary depending on how long the block is torched for each drink. We do offer a replacement block that can be purchased here.
What barrels do you use for the wood blocks?
We work with multiple distilleries around the US purchasing their freshly dumped bourbon barrels so each block can vary distiller and location. In the future we have plans to have special releases working with well known brands! Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.
What kind of Butane should I use and where do I find it?
Butane gas can easily be found at your local hardware, gas station, or convenience store usually near the checkout isle. You can also purchase online; we recommend the following:

My torch isn’t working, what should I do?
Double check your handy dandy instruction booklet and ensure you’re following the steps correctly. Don’t forget the torches do not have gas butane (sold separately) in them. If you are still having trouble please contact us sales@5thchar.com.
